Privacy Policy
Queuepid is a dating app for gamers. This page explains what data we collect, why, who it is shared with, and how you can retrieve or delete it.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Queuepid is published from Switzerland by Gabriel De Moura, a natural person, who is the data controller under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Because Queuepid is available from the European Union, the GDPR applies alongside the FADP to people residing there. This page covers both regimes.
2. Data we collect

2.3 The website
This section is about queuepidapp.com alone. None of it concerns the app, which sends nothing to any advertiser.
When you join the waiting list we keep your email address, the language of the page, which of the forms you used, and the campaign tag carried by the link you came in on. That tag says which post or advert brought you here. It never says who you are.
The site counts its visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, the audience measurement built into the site's host. It stores nothing on your device, does not follow you from one site to another and builds no profile: it counts page views, countries and referring sites, and nothing else. It therefore runs everywhere, Europe included, since it identifies nobody and there is nothing to consent to.
The site also loads the Meta pixel, a measurement script from Meta Platforms that reports page views and waiting-list signups back to our advertising account. It is what lets us tell which advert produced a signup rather than merely a click. It stores identifiers on your device and passes your IP address to Meta.
The pixel is not loaded at all for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. No identifier is stored on their device and no request is made to Meta: their visits exist only in the anonymous count described just above. This is why the site shows no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to where consent would be required.
Elsewhere, you can switch the pixel off by refusing third-party cookies in your browser, by using any tracker blocker, or from the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account. Doing so costs you nothing on this site, which works identically either way.
2.4 What we do not collect
- Your address book or contacts.
- Your browsing history outside the app.
- Your payment details: they are handled directly by Apple or Google and we never see them.
- No app data is ever sold, rented or shared with data brokers or advertisers. The website's measurement pixel is the single exception to that sentence, and section 2.3 describes it.
3. Who sees what
3.1 Other users
Visible to other signed-in players:
- Your first name, age, photos, bio, gender, interests, favourite games and ranks.
- Your approximate distance, never your exact coordinates or address.
- Your game library only if you made it public. It is private by default.
Visible to nobody but you: your email, exact date of birth, verification selfie, conversations, likes and block lists.

3.3 Transfers abroad
Queuepid is published from Switzerland and your data is hosted in the European Union, which the Swiss Federal Council recognises as providing an adequate level of protection. Two exceptions: search indexing (Algolia) and subscription management (RevenueCat) involve a transfer to the United States. These transfers are covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses recognised by the FDPIC and by the European Commission and, where applicable, by the Swiss–US and EU–US Data Privacy Frameworks.
The website's measurement pixel is a third transfer to the United States. It concerns visitors to queuepidapp.com and never account holders as such, and it is not loaded in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
3.4 Authorities
We disclose data to authorities only upon a valid legal request, or where necessary to prevent serious harm to a person's physical safety.
4. How long we keep your data

5. Your rights
The FADP and, if you reside in the European Union, the GDPR let you at any time:
- Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate data. Most fields are editable directly in the app.
- Erase your account and everything attached to it. This is availabledirectly in the app, with no need to contact us: Settings → Delete my account. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
- Port your data in a machine-readable format.
- Object to or restrict processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out. Location and notifications can be turned off in your device settings.
Write to contact@queuepidapp.com. We reply within 30 days at most.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with theFederal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), the Swiss data protection authority. If you reside in the European Union, you may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
6. Security
Traffic to our servers is encrypted in transit (TLS) and data at rest is encrypted by our host. Database access is governed by security rules that check, on every read and every write, that the person is entitled to it: your messages are readable only by the participants in the conversation, and nobody can self-certify or forge a match.
No system is infallible. In the event of a data breach likely to result in a high risk to your personality or fundamental rights, we notify the FDPIC as soon as possible (Article 24 FADP), and the competent European authority within 72 hours where the GDPR applies. We inform you directly where the risk warrants it.
7. Minors
Queuepid is strictly limited to people aged 18 and over. Date of birth is requested at sign-up and an account declaring under 18 is refused. If you become aware that a minor is using the app, report it from their profile or write to us: the account will be deleted and the data erased.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this page. For any significant change you will be notified in the app before it takes effect. The last updated date appears at the top.
