Why Queuepid exists.
Not a company page. What the app is trying to fix, what we decided to build instead, and what we will not do to get there.
Nowhere else knows what you play
On apps for meeting people, “video games” sits in a list of interests, between travel and cooking. The same checkbox covers someone who opens Roblox twice a year and someone who is Radiant on Valorant, and it says nothing about whether you finished the same game, whether you are awake at the same hours, or whether one single evening playing together would be any good. An LFG channel does no better: a username, a rank typed by hand, and that is it.
So the conversation starts where it always starts. Someone writes “hey”, the other writes “hey”, and forty minutes later they work out that one plays on Switch and the other has not touched a console since 2014. The thing that would have settled it in three seconds already existed. No app ever asked for it.
So we made the games the profile
Not one line in a bio. The real catalogue, with the ten games you would defend on your card, the rank you reached game by game, and the shelf of what you have beaten, what you are playing and what has been waiting since 2019.
Compatibility comes out of that: games first, then platforms, genres, languages and how you play. The number arrives with the covers you have in common listed underneath, because a score you cannot check is just decoration.
It gets built in the open
The Discord opened before the app. Screens go through it before they exist, what is broken gets said out loud, and the queue votes on what gets built next. It is where the beta testers meet today.
It is not a marketing channel sitting behind a “coming soon” page. It is the room where the decisions are made, and for now it is the only place where the app can still be changed before it ships.

Sell your data
Nothing is sold, rented or handed to data brokers or advertisers. Your photos are never reused to promote anything, ours included.
Charge you to meet someone
The app works without paying. Gold lifts limits, it does not hold the queue hostage, and it will never be the price of a first message.
Invent numbers
No user count, no match rate, no success story that never happened. When there is a real figure to give, it will be a real figure.
Pretend the ranks are verified
They are declarative and we say so, on the site and in the terms. An honest app with a few liars beats an app that claims to check what it cannot.
Call you a nerd
A large part of the audience reads that as an insult, and it describes nobody in particular. Queuepid is for people who play, which is most people.
Where it stands
Today.
The beta is open on iOS and Android, in seven languages, built in Switzerland. The App Store version is in review with Apple, Google Play follows in early October, and the app is strictly for adults.
